Any of you running the Pro-Taper SE bars? If so, which bend do you like? High, mid, or low?

Judging by my pictures, which bend would you say I have now? Mid?

Pro Taper SE Specs:

------------Width----Height---Pullback
ATV Low----813------140-------84

ATV Mid-----813------150-------76

ATV High----813------160------100

I'll have to measure mine when I get home.

Which color do you guys think for mine, Silver, Black or Gray?

Bar Colors

Maybe silver to make the a-arms pop? Or does the gray look closer in color? Black is just kind of unspectacular. Too bad they don't have blue or red in the ATV bends.

dropped the cylinder off at the machine shop today. should have it back tomorrow, if not friday at the latest. just going with wiseco 20 over. i am going to catch all heck for saying this, but i picked up a hotcams stage 1 cam. he had one on the shelf that someone ordered and made a deposit on, but hasn't picked up for 3 months now. he said he called the guy and now the phone is disconnected. well, i got it for $30. i just couldn't pass up the price(although, that is probably all it might be worth according to some of you here). the rod/crank checked out fine. cleaned everthing up today. i am going to clean up the exhaust tomorrow morning and paint it. made a new chain guard for it today. noticed where the chain must have broke before and smacked the cover. had a very nice repair job done to it. couldn't tell at all from the outside, but on the inside, i could see the weld. just picked up 2 1/4" longer bolts and put 1/4" metal spacers. bent a piece of flat stock and welded it inbetween the spacers. i might add a side guard to it tomorrow to keep my pant leg from getting sucked into the chain, but am satisfied with what i have. i made one last year for my mutant buell out of round stock. it looks like a spider web coming out. only bad thing is, the exhaust covers it up and i don't really need it. oh well.

Nice! You'll have to let us know how it all goes and how you like the HotCam. You should post up some pics of your wheeler and the case saver you made. Sounds like a good, easy idea.

seems worth the price/ i myself, would jump on it. i am going to look at a couple of dirt bikes myself today. one is a late 80's kawi 250 and the other is a ktm 125. both for 200, they both run, and he has a spare engine for the 250. i definately dont need either one, but for the price, i can't pass them up.

Wow, $200 for a dirt bike is cheap! All of the dirt bikes in my area are just crazy expensive. I think people buy them and realize there's pretty much nowhere to ride them in our state, then try to sell them for a lot of money. We have 80's dirt bikes listed for like $1400 and they don't run perfectly!

But yeah, its like my Grandpa says, I need another four wheeler "like I need a twin a$$ hole." But its such a good deal!
