yea my daughter is a beast on that little quad... this is the first cdi box with only 7,800rpm's i think can't remember i bought it last yr.
but the new cdi box is already on it's way, can't wait to see what 9500rpm is going to improve on this little bike...
i have everything CtRacing has to offer and the bike really has some gettie-up now
www.crjperformance.com offers wheel spacer for the ltz50 to widen the wheelbase by 3" front & rear
what do you guys think is there a better wheel&rim set-up out there ???

edc save some money just buy spacers for the rear...take the left rear and put it on the left front....... right rear on right front...take the right front wheel and put it on left rear with the valve stem on the inside facing the axle ......take the left front wheel and put it on the right rear with the valve stem on the inside facing the axle................this is done because the tires are directional and the rims have different offsets and by doing it this way in 5 minutes you can have the front end 3 inches wider.............trust me it works great and will save the extra weight on the front hubs and will also save you some $$$$$

damn that's easy, thankz for the tip...
ok just put front tires with the valve stem facing the axle in the rear only.....
if i change the tires later, can i put the valve stem in the rear facing out again because i won't have that directional issues?????
great post JPL easy read

no you will still have an offset issue...........the rear axle flange to flange is narrower than the front hubs flange to flange so if you put the rear wheels valve stem out it will make the rear of the bike even more narrow than stock.........i widened my sons quad by just rotating the tires and a 3 inch spacer kit in the rear (1.5 inches each side) and youll still have plenty of room on the inside of the wheel to check tire pressure.....check ebaymotors for quad wheel spacers i bought my set for like 27.00 dollars including shipping

Well, took my son to the track last night and I'm extremely happy with the results.
First, when my son took off it accelerated much quicker, definitely more responsive! He had to get use to it for a few laps. Out on the track it really benefited coming out of the turns, but it appears to have lost some speed on the straights (goes without saying).
The best thing I saw that impressed me the most though, was when he had to unfortunately make a complete stop, midway up the table-top due to a little pile-up, (hold on I'm not finished because we all know what would have happened if it was still stock.....) after seeing the whites in his eyes clear across the track (even through the goggles), he let go of the breaks and HIT THE THROTTLE, it went up like nothing, effortless!
Needless to say, I'm happy with the 48T and everything else we've all done to this little machine. It has come a long way!!!
Thanks everyone for all your help and input.
