Have you tried the 43tooth? Do you think it will run better?

Has anyone tried putting the stock rollers back in with the new sprocket; 48...?

This thing has zero torque so I'm sure when the next part comes out to increase the HP it will hit the rev limiter ... Then you will have the best of both worlds

I think if i get time i will try putting the stock rollers back in and see if i gain any speed....

I havent tried the 43...
Also i wouldn't mind trying different sprockets too...do they offer all sizes or just the 43 and 48?

You would think this motor would have more torque then it does..it seems to have a much longer stroke then most 50cc 4 strokes

The motor certainly is a disappointment. Are you sure it isn't just less compression? I feel a little head work coming on when I get the time.

If you're unhappy with the 48 I'll trade you my 43 with chain.

I think i will need the 48 in the sand for sure..thx for the offer though...
Started looking at 90s already..the Can-Am DS 90x caught my eye this weekend..then i did a search on here and found they are gutless too...and getting power out of those seems to be the same road as the LTZ50

I understand. So how does it pull hills with the 48? For the flats you might be very happy with a 43 tooth sprocket. For anything steep or deep you'll be wanting more.

I wish I had more time to work on ours.

Out of all the research that has been done on these quads, what is the best non-chinese quad out there? Does someone make the GOTTA HAVE 50 quad? It seams like the APEX and DRR are Chinese. Is this true?
