Anyone planning on riding this weekend? IF so Where at?

 

Nope but next weekend we are going to the dunes.

 

the club had planned a ride at Claiborne, but no one really wants to drive all the way there and get turned around due to it being closed.

I'll be in Pitkin for the weekend, but I'm leaning towards not bringing the Grizzly. Too much going on, won't have time to ride [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

I just read that all of Kisatchie is closed to OHV use until drier times. So Claiborne is definetly out for this weekend.

 

I found a place that is Forest that is not closed down because of the hills....It drains real well.....We went on Sunday after a week of rain and almost did not have to wash the bikes.....It is off of barron road in Pollock!

I will be in Baton Rouge this weekend and we had talked about going to the spillway to the track but where is Kentwood?

 

Kentwood is off I-55 right before Mississippi. Its a true mx track with lots of natural turane. Fun elavation changes all over the track and all the jumps are Quad friendly. Nuthing is super cross or do or die. There will be 3 classes for quads on Saturday. Pro,Beginer and mini. Practice startes for 8am.

 

If anybody is interested I can post directions when I get home.

 

Kentwood is a long haul for me. I would like more info. on the track though, like a schedule, directions, expected class sizes etc.
Is there a webstie?
