My guess is that everything is going to be rutted from the rains.

Elsinore's track for Quads is closed until it dries out more. There was one "adult track" open for bikes. It looked like a freeway.

Scoundrel - You shoulda gone to Glamis! IT was awesome as usual. Not so many peeps there either! Made a great time for camping, you could actually hear the train in the washes! All-in-All, great weekend, I think I will do it again April 30th!

Does anybody know if you can put tubes in quad tires (kfx 400)? If so, anybody know where I can get them? I'm trying to eliminate the chances of another tire problem like yesterday.

I think that a well versed tire store should be able to aquire them. If you can't find any in Corona, call Elsinore Tire @ 674-4510.

Our trip to Miami Trails was a change in plans since we couldn't find any place to ride in the Lemoore area.

Sorry to have missed everyone too; it would have been nice to meet some more quad-riding people! We were in Kamook (sp?). Unfortunately for us, no one in our group of 8, thought that it was a good place to ride quads! Yet on the other hand, after reading all the Miami posts from this weekend, I'm guessing that we just didn't have a real "trail guide!"

Of course comparing Hollister to Miami, would be like big red apples and rotten old oranges, and it just wouldn't be right. However, Miami just doesn't even come close to fun after a recent weekend in Hollister!!! Sorry guys . . .

Glad to hear that everyone else enjoyed themselves. Maybe we'll meet up another time at another place!

Lori ( oh - and Richard too!)

Just Back from Hungry Valley...was our first time there, and it was great....the Trails are very well groomed and really perfect for quads.....All the black diamond trails were just terrific, not too hard, and great scenery....

I wish the guys that take care of the trails at Hungry Valley would get transferred to Hollister....which could really use some help....

We camped at Cottonwood campground area, nice little shade and table setup, was really happy.....

Traveling down I-5 was interesting, a little car had it's right rear tire explode just as he was about to overtake my rig.....I was screaming crash....crash.....crash.....and he wadded it after veering off into the center divide.....lucky........for me.....

Friday enjoyed most of the trails in Hungry Valley.....I did have to winch out one of our group....the kid couldn't.....do it....Then had to tow my buddies V-Force back to camp after he got the ignition coil wet at a creek crossing.......

THen Saturday, first trail we went down, a sand rail was hung up at a creek crossing.....winched him out tooo, then climbed up and over the obstacle he biffed on, roosting him to my waiting group's joy.....It's all good!

Then Sunday's one last ride.....Same VForce split his fuel hose under the seat and he had some very exciting moments chasing him down while his fuel supply was pumped onto the trail behind himm........lucky he didn't have a fire....

Really liked Vic's Cat trail, Badlands, FLat Fannie, Mesa and Backbone trails.....and the whole park just had a lot of interesting hills and obstacles and fun little whoops and jumps......

Too bad its a seven hour drag to get there.......

Had a great weekend......nothing bad, had somebody to share the cost of the fuel....Swiiinnnnngggggg!
