Went to Carnegie today and met up with MWQ and his son When I left the house, it looked like we received a pretty good dosing of rain last night. However, when I got to I-5, the sun was out so, the riding couldn't be that bad WRONG Was it muddy and slippery. Tried to go up one hill, I've come to call the "widowmaker" ended up walking the quad down it 4 motorcycles tried to make it up to, they ended up walking their bikes down too MWQ and his son made it up though If you stayed on the trails that the sun was shining on, the trail had tacked up a bit, so it wasn't as slippery. MWQ's son did do an endover his bike acted up and after a valiant try to get it started, I was pulling him back to the truck. Unfortunately, he hit a rut and went over the bars Fortunately he was OK At least he was when we left. He did bend the mount for his speedometer I am sure MWQ can take care of that I on the other hand, had a motorcyclist cut me offand in his NEED to be in front of me, roosted me with gobs of mud I was hit in the left eye and now, have a BLACK EYEI was unable to chase him down due to the gas can I was carrying, to try and help MWQ's son get going again.

Tear offs would be good Wish I had them today. Creek is running Kids love running the creek bed. I don't know how old your boy is, but if he's running a 50cc bike and it's wet out, I'd stay off the trails. Even the green circle ones were treacherous today If the sun is on them for a couple of hours then, they might turn into sticky loam and traction would be much better. It's just no fun watching your back end try to beat the front end down the hill Well it is If it's not you it's happening to

The tracks have a lot of standing water on them. The track your referring to, had 2 big watering holes on it I didn't check out the kids tracks at the east end of the park. However, last week when my 9 year rode the mx track, it had 2 decent size puddles that she was riding around. So, I can only think they still had significant water on them.

Hey guys , just got back from pismo nice over there today. I guess that getting stuck over in the dunes sure put the scares to alot of people. The place had some people but not to many, just right. Everyone was being all secretive with there bikes. A whole bunch of little groups all seperated dragging then tweeking. When you pull up they would not give you the time of day. I guess 4sw has everyone on edge. That mighty beast of a river lost some of its punch. At high tide when we passed it was only about a foot deep. anyway maybe i will see some of you anext saturday.

Have a friend who is at Pismo this weekend also. I would think anyone who has been paying attention to the recent storm and the creek, would know, they need to be cautious about crossing it.

I don't get to involved in the "hush, hush" of what my bike can do. However, if I was a "competitive" rider, I might not want anyone to see what I'm doing to my bike. Especially if there is $$$ or a "pink slip" involved

This time i used the voice of inteligence, my wife. A liitle suggestion of why dont you get out of the truck and inspect the situation before jumping in over your head again. took me a nice look and it was only a foot or so. After last time i leave that macho stuff at home.
