Well Im back already! Talk about the trip from HELL!!!!! It was raining hard non-stop the whole time at stoddard. It was ridiculous! The ground had about 2-3 inches of water everywhere! Not good for my quad with no airbox lid

Then my uncles truck got stuck 2 times. Then e had to find someone to pull the truck and toy hauler out of there. It was super sunny when we left and everything started to dry out but I didnt want to run chance of getting stuck out there!

I seriously think that was the worst idea ever to go out there! I under estimated the rain! God thing though with all the rain my feet were freezing so me and a buddy rode up to Barstow and I bought some new Fox Tracker boots. Man they are nice!

I'm back a day early from Glamis..
Left on Thursday evening hoping to get there before the crouds......?
Friday morning it rained lightly. Light enough my son continued to ride irregardless.
I watched him while drinking my coffee...
Late Friday it cleared up nicely and continued to be nice nearly the entire weekend.
Saturday afternoon there was a short brake in the sun and we got a little rain for about an hour and
then it cleared up the remainder of the time. All in all it was a fabulous weekend....

I hope everyone else had a great weekend...

Had a great time in Glamis this weekend as well! Saturday it was a little bit windy, Sand Highway was not as fun in the afternoon, so we decided to head back from Comp-Hill early (before dark). Watched the lightning and clouds the rest of the night.

Going to do it all over again next weekend!!! Wash 15 - 1/2 look at pics to see what I am riding! = ) See you there!

oh and like I have been telling everyone who has decided not to go due to rain, there is a reason it is a desert!

Never been to Glamis, figured it is about 7 hrs south of me. May be worth it later this year, especially if this rain keeps up much longer.

I too am back from Hollister. Had a blast out there. I just wish the MC riders wouldn't try and take off up Rancho Road right before a group of quads. When they stop (or more the case crash/fall) we have to stop. Not a good thing. One guy got hosed by at least 4 quads.

Had a group of about 10 quads on one ride. And the track was anywhere from kinda sloppy to pretty nice.

And I tented it the whole weekend (under a shade ramada). Talk about dedication.

Anyone know why they closed the wash rack at Walnut Camp? Only one left is at the Vintage Track.

Glamis as well... 9 hours each way in the RV but worth every minute. Now Pismo has always been my favorite, but compared to the enormity of Glamis it just seems like a little kids sandbox. Tens of thousands of people, unbelievable rails and drag bikes...and still enough room to claim some virgin dunes as your own. Camped at wash 13.5 with some really good people. The next big trip is Jawbone canyon April 1 but will return to Glamis again and again, no matter how far the drive. You will always leave staring out into the huge dunes on the way out with the biggest s&%t eating grin on your face for hours afterwards.

I got rained on between Los Banos and 99 coming back. A little sprinkle when I was coming through Fresno. Stopped and cleared up for me to wash the bike. Then about 4 this afternoon all hell broke loose. Got almost nickel sized hail when a T-storm blew over. Largest hail I've ever seen. Hey, I'm a CA boy, what can you expect. I took some video of it and the hail afterwards. No damage.
