yeah he will need the old one probably to send it back so they can check it out. (so bob can get a credit for a replacement)

When pulling the flywheel, apply about 80 ft. lbs of pressure too the flywheel and pop the end of the puller with a hammer several times. The flywheel jumps off with little fanfare and you don't risk overtightening the puller and marring / pulling flywheel threads.
