apparently, California where he lives will not get any raptors until Oct. because of emissions regulations. Hes full of it.

 

Well I figured it out. The problem with the DS you raced is a poorly tuned carb/pipe/airbox setup. When I installed the RW stage one kit it was slower than stock, although it had more lowend! After properly tuning the carb and enabling the accelerator pump, the thing was insane. I had to pull 2 extra teeth in the rear AND one extra tooth in the front for safety reasons, otherwise I couldn't keep the frontend down, given good traction.

The first intellegent answer as to why my Raptor won't be here until Oct. I live in the People's Republic of CA, and I guess our air is so much more important than the rest of the country's. It is so much more important, that we have to wait to get our Raptors. I am so proud that my elected dictators are up in Sacramento protecting me, while the rest of the world gets to play on their new toys.

yep you guys have to wait until they get CARB approval, i just have to wait until they put the wheels on.... hope they dont make you neuter that beautiful new raptors 660ccs of power.

 

426EX you have made my day! You know where West Salem is at? Dragway 42 is located there. I would love to finally be able to race something other than a Lt500 and a older banshee. Let me know...wednesday nights the owner loves the idea!

pairof98s, Probably the next time I'm at LS I will have the supercharger kit. I hope it will be in October sometime, running on race gas, and maybe alcohol by Thanksgiving weekend.
