Default Anyone bump the timing on a warrior?

I just found a degree key for the yfm350 motor and wanted to know if it gives any gains? I did a search and couldn't find anything.

of course it will give you gains, but it also makes your motor run a lil hotter, as long as your still on stock CDI and compression, ide give it a try.

Vito's performance has the degree key, its like 20 bucks. That sucks, im looking to give the top end a boost, low end is sweet now, plenty of grunt, mid range is there, not where i want it to be but its getting there, but the top end lacks what i want. Is the only way to really boost the top end internal mods like a hi comp piston or a cam?
