2007 Yamaha Grizzly 400 4x4
Pull Start is fine
Put key in and turn to on position. The neutral light comes on. Move red switch to run position and the neutral light goes out or dims and electric start will not function. Can use the pull cord to start in this position.

Also, when running, the lights will work, but when hit the winch button to extend cable, the engine cuts out.

Any ideas?

 

Flat battery, or bad connection. Probably a main one, either on battery, solenoid or earth lead. Charge up battery and check it is holding charge (if possible). If it is OK, check all those heavy leads are clean and tight.
