Which is best for the raptor I want perfomance, but also a good sounding pipe. The local dealer has the fmf in stock and it is about the same price as the white bros, but he would have to order the W-B and add another 30 for shipping
your help is much appreciated

the dealership here has a used raptor with a fmf exhaust. i fired it up to listen to it and i wasnt impressed with how it sounded. i didnt drive it, i just wanted to hear it. it had a low and quiet bark like it sounds when you take the spark arrestor out of the stock pipe. i want a pipe with a loud rap like the white bros. r series on my friends 400ex! that thing is sweet sounding. if noise is an issue it might be a little too much though.

The E-Series is fully adjustable. Add discs it get louder remove discs it gets quiter. It's your choice. I personally bought the GYT-R pipe as I got it for $200 shipped next day air for a weekend run.

One nice thing about the disc type silencers is that they incorporate a spark arrestor without compromising performance. A straight through silencer without spark arrestor may be close in performance to a disc type silencer, but what if you have to use a spark arrestor?

The HMF looks good too. And they are coming out with a spark arrestor version in a couple of weeks. Their web site has dyno charts for full exhaust and slip-on.

I have the FMF exhaust and Power Bomb, they work great, run great, sound great. The sound is deep & mean unlike what it sounds on a 400EX. If it sounds any louder it would sound as if you had no exhaust.
