**** The Motors in Polaris ATV's? ****
it's my understanding that the liberty 600/700 engines are built
here in the u.s.a.
All other polaris engines are built by Fuji in japan or it's North
American counterpart Robin in the U.S..that's why some
engines might say Fuji and others of the same bike might have
Robin on it, usually depending on the year model..

All the motors are built here in the U.S. by Polaris. Polaris owns a good chunk of Fuji Corp. and uses some of their parts. Fuji also designed most of the motors for Polaris, with the exception of the new American twin cylinder motors in the sleds and atv's. I've been on a tour of the Oceola plant and it's cool! They build some pipes, seats, some frame pieces, clutches, and the motors. It's a very clean operation and the quallity control is very good also. On a side note the 250 engine has been around since '85 and is very reliable if maintained properly.
