If you checked all your motor mounts then i'm guessing its internal possibly the crank?

 

There is spacers between motor and the frame and they have about an 1/8 of movment is that OK... if its the crank ill deal with it

 

Mine are right tight and ive never had a problem. I wouldnt think you'd want that play but i'm no expert. Seems to me if you had play in the mounts it would wear on the case over time...

 

im going to get some thick washers so there is no more play and there is only play in the front/bottom ...and figures that seems where the vibration is coming from... amazing

 

it sounds more internal.

 

i need to get working on our lt230s lol. its in quite a few pieces sitting in my garage. we got the lt230e working pretty well though... so the s shouldn't be too bad

 

guys i have a question? okay i need to get new sprockets on lt230s right? what will give me the best upper and lower end? give me a combo and why? please

also im running stock sprockets on the lt230e right? once again whats the best combo here, that will give me best upper and lower end? thanks

what kind of riding do you do? i do fast trails and a lot of cruising. i had stock 12/41 on my 230s and 1st was too low and obviously, 5th to low. so im running with 12/39 now. i use first more.

 

um i ride alot of fast trails, trails, wide open fields, roads. Quite a bit o wide open-ness. I also like to do hill climbs too so yea pretty much high speed action. a balance between accleration and top speed.

 

well other than stock the 12/39 is all ive had. my accel is actually faster with the higher ratio since i can stay in 1st a little longer. with the extra hp ive got, i notice nothing but higher everything now lol
