I did rejet after the K&N and the exhaust but i don't remember if i re jetted after the big bore kit. It will run fine at high speed when its cold, but after she starts to get hot, thats when she starts to break up on the top end. Trailrider, is your front end wider than stock, it it is what did you do to get it that way?

yeah mine's wider than stock. alot wider. its all in my rims. no a arm extensions or spacers. just got to my garage in my profile. i think the rims area +2+4 offset. and it makes a big difference in handling.

if you did a 260 bigbore, the stock 26mm is not enough carb for what you got. a 28mm flatslide would work out better but you still have to jet it right.

Where did you get your rims from? And will the stock throttle cable work with a 28mm flatslide?

I finally got around to taking my plug out to look at it and its pretty dark, this means it is running rich, correct? Is it possible that at slower speeds it is running rich, but at high speed it is too lean?

yes it should. bashr52 has a 28mm he might know better than i do. and i got my rims at rockymountainatv.com. the rim size is 10x6. it uses the stock tire size its just an inch wider. its the offset that gives the wider stance. its like getting a +2 extension on each side. i run the .160 wheels, i have flipped and rolled with those wheels and they haven't bent yet.

the more i ride my 230 the more i see how narrow the front is. going around a turn without hanging like an ape off to the side is too dangerous. i had to fight all day to keep it from rolling on me lol

no longer necessary, i took the carb apart and cleaned it real good with some carb cleaner. put it back together, re-adjusted the screws to 2 turns and it runs like a top again.

Anybody know where to get a headlight bulb for these things that is LED? Im looking for some brighter light without actually replacing the whole unit for a complete LED light?

hey we fabbed up some mods for the 250s a arms didnt mean 250r mistyped by bad but they work nicely and recently took off the axle extenders i was given a 88 flat track racer with extended axles on it and i switched them out works much better thanks for the comment how can i get on the vault i have tried for months now with no avail????? do you know where i can get some OEM mudflaps?
