I install, upgrade and maintain large corporate owned telephone systems. (Im the telephone man) or PBX service and support tech.
You know, Hospitals, Banks, Call centers and corprate back office communication.
Ahh yes. If you have ever been stuck on hold, waiting to get your info, there is one of me,(maybe even me) to blame.

The hours can be looooooong. But the job has its perks.

that was the longest 10 hour day ive had in a while. Seems more like 16 if my math is right. I had to fix the thing before it could be programmed. I guess it had been limping along till I got there.

oh well, Its all OT. Might be able to get some more 230 parts this month.

Cool, but at this point in my "career", I am gonna stick to suspension mods, and make 'em pretty!! Motor work cost my dumbass to much $, blood, sweat and tears! I'll pay the pros from now on......

I have a topic for my question but i guess its bettr in this thread. Well I took apart my motor after its been sitting since last year when I heard a weird noise coming from it. Evrything looks finee except the camshaft chain guide its ripped up pretty good, theres no big mess but im gonna have to replace the guide. What would cause the chain to rip up the guide? could it be that the tensioner was adjusted too much? or too litte?

What's wrong with this picture and how much is this going to cost me?

How does something like this even happen?

... and what's my next step?

i hate to tell you this, but i think you'd be better off searching ebay for a bottom end, or whole engine to rebuild
