I am getting older everyday, but realistically, I am too young to worry about it everyday and move my stuff around. I am just trying to maintain what I have and once we start to come out of it get a little more agreessive, unfortunatly I think that is what everybody is doing, I just don't hae the fortune to do much else. </end quote></div>
That an IRA/401k or a trading accnt?
Yeah, I think everybody is waiting for somebody else to make the first move.</end quote></div>
THat is a 401K. I was doing very well a while back when others wern't but that is over, so now I am staying safe or so I think.

Everything is poised to go up, so long as no more disasters happen. And it would help if congress and Obama would stay off the tv for a while and quit reminding everybody this could turn into the next great depression. Nobody is buying anything with talk like that all the time.

Its an 800W Alpine Sub in a nice, carpeted box with a 250W amp mounted on top. Used to have it it my truck, but now that I have my little car, I can't afford the space.</end quote></div>
Alpine is a good name. There are probably a lot of 230's out there that people don't advertise. I found one last year when I bought the lakota. We got to talking and I found out the guy had a 230 in the barn. He just put a new piston in it and redid the swingarm and a new mag cover. My buddy bought it off him for $500. He might have gotten it cheaper, but I already screwed up and let on how nice those things were. Oops. [IMG][/IMG] Oh well, its been a good machine so far.</end quote></div>
True that, I found mine sitting outside under some snow and hauled it away for nothing, granted it was just a rolling chasi, but still a good find. My white and blue one in the pics cost me $800 about 4 years ago, but has since paid for itself in fun for me and others. I bet I could not get $500 for it now though, the market has gone south for ATVs in general.

How did our 230S's fare in the mags back in the days when they were new? Did they win any shootouts?</end quote></div>
They always came in last. Not only last, but waaaaay back there. The 250x was always out front and followed by the mojave. It was only a 230, the others were 250s. PG said he remembered a 230 with a 260 kit beating a 250x, but I was so in love with the x I wouldn't have remembered anyway.
I had a subscription to 3 n 4 wheel action, atv sports, and whatever the atv version of dirt wheels was called back then. Atv sports was a nice mag. The pics were shiney and it was thicker than the rest. 3 n 4 wheel was a little more than black n white pics. I think it was black n white for a while in the early days.
I had cutouts of everything on my wall. I even had the little suzuki 80! If they had a full page pic in the mag, I put it on the wall.
I remember when the Warrior, Blaster, Banshee, and Zilla came out and read the reviews in Junior High. Those were the good ole days.
