What is airmobile getting upset about? And what the hell is get "moored"? I dont understand his point? <span class="FTHighlightFont">Are there companys making these parts cheaper that we don't know about? </span ft> How are we making it harder? CT sells the same type of upgrades he has on his KFX.</end quote></div>

Im not upset, but to answer your question, YES!! Its called the entire Tawain/Chinense/Japanese scooter industry. I don't have a clue what CT sells that kit for or what it includes. I did my clutch for under $50.00 dollars. This what it got for $50.00: 1 KOSO RACING VARIATOR W/BOSS , size 5g-10g roller weights(prodigy), 1500 rpm clutch springs, 2000rpm clutch springs, 1500rpm torque spring, and 2000 rpm torque spring.

99% of the stuff you can get off ebay dirt cheap. Do the research,I promise to save ya a buck. Sorry for my rudeness.

Ahh, "get moored" , no point at all. Just go over to the Kids quad forum and you'll figure it out!!</end quote></div>

Not everyone has the time and energy to research what will, and will not work for their particular application. While CT may sell some of their kits at a premium they essentially do all the R&D for you. That doesn't come for free...

Hey guys, I just wanted to add a few things for you to think about. First, these little quads will only go as fast as your child and the bikes suspension can handle. That being said, stop doing a search for turbo's;^) Second, the clutch upgrade kit (which can be found cheaper than what CT offers) will do the same if not more than a bigger sprocket. The plus side is it won't destroy your chain gaurd. The key to the clutch kit is knowing what size wieghts and springs to use. And last, when buying a CDI box, be careful. The chinese ones are cheaper and will open it up a bit. The problem is 1. they're prone to burning out wich could cause more problems than they're worth and 2. not all of them just plug in. That means you may have to do some shade tree wiring.
Not to praise my kids bike but, the upgrades I did to his is more than enough for the bike for the riding he does. If he rode like my oldest son then I would concider the clutch kit. Yes I did pay $$$ for the upgrades by going through CT and Big Dog but the trade off is that it runs like a champ worry free. That means every time he starts it up, it runs strong fast and most importantly reliable. Just my thoughts. I'll step down from my soapbox now.

I know they dont get it overseas from a company making parts for pitbikes! And I bet you were doubtful about your cdi when you first received it. You had to hard wire it, and I bet you had never heard of it before! Im very happy you got that cdi to work for you. I hope it lasts forever also, but I dont want to buy a part with no r&d put into it except yours. No offense to you! I bought a Dyna cdi off ebay last night for $161 that plugs right in and I have confidence in it not only from past dealings with Dyna but the proof lowlife, kingquad, and dmonzsta have expressed!

I do agree with you about the clutch products. They are so cheap on ebay. But I do wonder what the total cost would be after shipping the seperate parts. I havent added it up yet but it is probably close to the ct kit already put together with one fee and less worry on my part.

Stop taking this so personal! Your kfx is sick! Im sure your boy loves it! Thats what its all about.

Lowlife has hit the nail on the head!
