It just occured to me to look at the service manual for carb info.

The book only shows 3 holes. THe left-lower hole is the pilot air jet. The right-lower is the main air jet. The hole on the right is the choke. No other holes are pictured.

Btw, this is the repair manual I have: Official 1985-1988 Suzuki LT230S Factory Service Manual 99500-42034-01E LT230SG Quadsport

And that's about what I paid for it too.

Thats the one I got, and I paid $23 shipped

The insert has no provision to screw out, it looks to be pressed in. If it is an air jet, now what do I do?

That'd be worth it for that price. The Clymer manual is $30 and isn't particularily helpful. Its good @ helping you with the things you might not need a manual for.

Man, just got done with my sister's commencement. About 760 kids and a 3 hour ceremony. My class was still the biggest ever through the school though! We had about 890 kids!

Where did you find it so cheap? I got the 250S one for $20 off ebay.

The book doesn't show it. So, who knows what it is. Looks like plugging it is the thing to do.

Bashr, you'll have to write a carb page for the website since you'll be the expert on them when this is all said and done!

I read around and everybody said the clymer one sucked, so I shelled out for the good one and found the 250S one on ebay as a bonus I guess.

That's a lot of kids!
