85 to 88 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport help.
haha lol, thanks man
well after making the box out of 26 guage sheet metal, (only 4 sides, ends were open) i brought it home to see if it would fit nope lol about .5 inch to wide :/
well it happens, better now then when it was completed.
so revised depentions for box will be 4 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 10 inches long.
am going to use caulk(home type) to waterproof it.
not really sure how im going to put a door or it and keep it water proof though :/
i was thinking about making a little door on the end, that is slightly smaller then the end of the box and putting 1 hinge on the bottom of it and a latch type lock on top. Doing this would create a little 1/8 gap between where the hole of the box is and the overlap of the cover. and i was going to use weather stripping to seal it. Kind of like the seal on your refrigerator and the refrigerator door. The hole would be 1/2 inch smaller then the cover on every side to provide room for the weather stripping. how you guys understand

I'm continuing to pull my LT230S apart. Tonight I am working on the front suspension. Pretty surprised to see spherical bearings instead of cheap rubber bushings. One bolt out of all of them is rusted inside the joint and isn't responding well to my hammer whacks.
I'll hose it down with penetrating rust killer and leave it for tomorrow.

vm-28 flatside
Looking for a tad bit of help picked up a 28mm flat mikuni. To put on my bike.
Currently using jetting Pilot 25, 122main on the stock carb.
The new carb came with 15 pilot and 180 main.
Should i pick up a 25 pilot or 30, and im thinking something bigger for the main that im using now. I basically need something just to start and i can tune it in from there. Im not new to this stuff. Just want a baseline to start off from so i don't risk a lean condition on my beast. lol
Any help or a point in the right direction would be great.
