Do you know how wide they are? Any other measurements? Mine are 32 inches wide and 24 inches wide where I put my hands (close to the light switches n that).</end quote></div>
Ok so maybe mine aren't wider (also 32in) only rise up 4.5in at highest though

I have low moose bars, just a temporary fix. I plan on using the same bars I put on my DT. High MSR bars from bike bandit. Under the control menu.
I highly suggest you follow that route, theyre very comfortable and I think you gain like 1in wide, and 2in high.

Mine will idle fine until i open it up hard. If it fouls out at idle, a whack of the throttle and kicking will take care of it.
My assumption is the air jet. No one ever changes them . Mine has a 1.8 in it and I think it should be more like a .9 or .8. Pilot meters the ammount of air that should enter where as the air jet is metering the air at idle.

I was thinking wider for a long time, but today I was analyzing everything while turning in circles and I feel like I can't lean enough with my arm stuck way out in front of the quad. And my other arm is tucked into my hip area and I'm gripping the bar backwards with that hand. Ironically, now I'm thinking shorter, lol.
My bars are also 4.5 high and about 1 or 2 inches of pull back.
I might experiment with a hack saw.

mjlar, did you get the ticking noise figured out?
I've never heard of anyone changing the air jet.... But, I haven't talked to everyone and I dont know it all either, so....
I'm going to install the 10 pilot tonight and see how it works tomorrow. (I still have that #$&^&* oil leak from the valve cover to fix again anyway). My headlight came in the mail today too. Original suzuki box! Cool! So, I have a few good reasons to tear the plastic back off, yet again.
